⚔️ DarkThrone Alpha Is Ending — Beta Begins April 1st!
The Alpha phase is wrapping up, and with it comes a full game reset to launch the Beta era. Here's everything you need to know.
🔥 What's Being Reset
Every player will return to a fresh start:
- Level 1, 0 XP
- 100 citizens, 0 miners
- 10,000 gold on hand, 150,000 gold banked
- 200 turns
- Fort: 100/100
- Alignment: Neutral
- 24h protection
The following will be completely wiped:
- All trained units, buildings, items, upgrades
- All proficiency points
- All mercenaries and daily stock
- All lifetime stats (kills, gold stolen, spy ops, etc.)
- All logs (attack, spy, training, recruit, armory)
- All bank history
- All saved combat sims
- All clans, wars, ranks, clan banks, intel, bounties
- All player messages and notifications
⭐ What You Keep
- Your player name
- Race and class
- Login and account
- Supporter status and purchase history
- All earned badges (including Alpha Tester)
- Friends list
- Player settings and preferences
- Discord link
⚙️ What's Changing in Beta
- Attack and spy range reduced from 10 levels to 5 levels
- Clan creation and joining now requires Level 1 (down from 10)
🏅 Badges
- The Alpha Tester badge becomes legacy — no longer obtainable after the reset
- A new Beta Tester badge will be automatically granted to all players entering Beta

We've added 1,000,000,000 gold to every bank and converted all T2/T3 miners back to Workers so you can untrain them.
This is your final chance to:
- Spend everything
- Push your stats
- Finish your wars
- Go wild
Everything resets on April 1st.

Alpha was for testing, breaking things, fixing things, and shaping the game with your feedback. Huge systems were reworked — wars, bot detection, clans, spy ops, forts, proficiencies, and more.
A clean slate ensures a fair, balanced, improved start for everyone in Beta.
