You pick a race and class, build an empire, train an army of soldiers and spies, fortify your stronghold and raid other real players for their gold. There are no graphics-heavy downloads and no client: it runs entirely in your browser, on desktop or mobile, and it's free to play.

Every turn matters. Turns regenerate over time and are spent attacking rivals, so choosing when and who to hit is the whole game. Alongside open combat there's a full espionage layer — reconnaissance to scout a target's defenses before you commit, sabotage to wreck their fortifications, and assassination to thin their army — and if you're caught, your target finds out. Join a clan and it scales up: shared strategy, clan banks, and formal clan wars scored over days.
