Discord Bot & Auto-Recruiting

Our Discord bot just got a serious upgrade! You can now link your Discord account directly to your DarkThrone profile and manage parts of your kingdom without even opening the game. Not in our Discord yet? Join here!

Auto-Recruit — Tired of manually recruiting citizens every day? Just hop into Discord and type /recruit today to queue up your daily 300 citizens automatically. The bot handles everything in the background — you don't even need to keep Discord open. Check your progress with /recruit status or cancel anytime with /recruit cancel.

More Bot Commands:

/profile — View any player's profile right from Discord
/leaderboard — Check the top rankings without logging in
/stats — Server-wide statistics at a glance
/link — Connect your Discord to your game account

Combat System

What's updated in battle:

Fort Damage — Every attack chips away at your opponent's fortifications. When their fort drops to 0 HP, their entire garrison becomes exposed
Casualty System — Higher-tier units are harder to kill thanks to tier protection. But push through someone's defenses and you'll see real losses on their side
Gold Raiding — Steal 10-60% of your target's gold depending on how many turns you commit and how damaged their fort is
Alignment Shifts — Attacking good or evil races now shifts your moral alignment. Go full hero or embrace the darkness — it's your call
Battle Sharing — Share your attack logs with your clan for coordinated warfare

Espionage & Intelligence

Reconnaissance — Scout out a target's defenses, army composition, and resources before committing to an attack
Sabotage — Go beyond scouting and actively disrupt your enemies. Higher risk, but double the XP reward
Spy Academy — Level up your Spy Academy building to unlock new operation types and boost your spy capabilities
Detection System — Failed spy attempts alert the target and cost you spy units. Choose your targets wisely!

Clans & Social Features

Playing alone is fine, but playing with a clan? That's where DarkThrone really shines.

Clan System:

Create or join clans with a full rank & permissions system
Mass announcements to keep your members informed
Application & invitation system for recruitment
Activity logs so leaders know who's pulling their weight

Shared Intelligence: Attack logs and spy reports can now be shared with your entire clan. Coordinate your strikes, identify weak targets, and dominate together.

Friends & Messaging: Add friends, send private messages, block troublemakers — all the social tools you'd expect.

Economy & Progression

We've built out a deep economy system to keep things strategic beyond just fighting.

Armory — Over 130 weapons and armor pieces across multiple tiers. Equip your units with the best gear to boost their combat stats. Buy, sell, and optimize your loadout.

Buildings — Invest in your kingdom's infrastructure:

Fortification — Boost your fort's durability
Siege Workshop — Build siege engines for uncapped bonus offense
Housing — Generate more citizens over time
Barracks — Training bonuses for your troops
Mercenary Camp — Hire temporary reinforcements from a rotating stock
Spy Academy — Unlock and enhance espionage operations

Mercenaries — Need some extra muscle? The Mercenary Camp generates a fresh stock of hireable units daily. They're temporary, but they pack a punch when you need them.

We've also added proper Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy pages to the homepage. Transparency matters to us — you can find them in the footer of the site. Nothing scary, just the usual stuff to keep things official and make sure you know how we handle your data.
